Chartered Institute of Building

Member of the Chartered Institute of Building

The CIOB, or Chartered Institute of Building, is is the world’s largest and most influential professional body for construction management and leadership. They are well recognised across the globe for their dedication to providing the best quality and ethical values within building practices.

The CIOB  have a Royal Charter to promote the science and practice of building and construction for the benefit of society and have been doing that since 1834. Members of CIOB work worldwide in the development, conservation and improvement of the building environment.

To qualify as an MCIOB, a Member must hold either a BSC (Hons) degree in construction processes related to the built environment, or demonstrate the academic equivalent either by holding a degree in a different subject or by having their professional performance, competences and the required underpinning knowledge assessed.

We are delighted that our Construction Manager Jordan Allingham has been admitted as a member to the CIOB.  Jordan has signed up to the Rules and Regulations of Professional Competence and Conduct with the CIOB as well as the acceptance of public responsibility for construction work undertaken.

Furthermore, organisations chartered with the CIOB are independently assessed and regularly audited. EHA Group will therefore continue to demonstrate that we:

  • Are competently and professionally run
  • Operate to high business and ethical standards
  • Are committed to developing a fully qualified workforce
  • Have a significant number of directors that are already Chartered
(either with CIOB or other building environment organisations).
