Past Project: Wakehurst Court, Ballymena

Wakehurst Court is situated on the Larne Road at the site of an old church in Harryville, Ballymena.

EHA Group built 48 social housing units on this site, a mixture of houses and apartments in partnership with Clanmil Housing Group.

The scheme was handed over 5 months ahead of contract completion date. Handovers were completed in September 2018, instead of February 2019 within a programme of just 15 months.

Through the Considerate Constructors Scheme, EHA teamed up with Harryville Primary School and came Runner-Up in the ‘Ivor Goodsite’ hoarding competition. This is an annual, UK wide competition that enables children of all ages to unleash their artistic skills on site hoardings, while also highlighting the importance of safety around building sites.

Our site team also won the Chartered Institute of Housing’s Housing Team of the Year Award 2019 for their team work in delivering ahead of schedule, and their engagement in the local community.
