Downpatrick, Co. Down
EHA has been appointed as the Design & Build contractor by Clanmil Housing Association at the site of the old Downe Hospital. Work began with an archaeological dig in May 2018, consisting of 20 trenches dug to virgin ground level.
The first houses of Phase 1 are now ready for handover, with a total of 9 houses. Three further phases are to come.
Located off Pound Lane in Downpatrick town centre, this will not only provide essential social housing for the Co. Down area, but will also redevelop this part of Downpatrick. It will bring new life to the old, derelict Hospital site.
