Project Update: Brookfield Mill

The major reconstruction and redevelopment at Brookfield Mill is well underway and progressing well.

The timber kit is on going on the Flax Street and Crumlin Road side of the building. The roof coverings have also started on the Flax St side along with the window flashings while the team are starting to fit the cladding.

The windows are fitted on the 3rd floor of building and have begun being fitted on the 4th floor.

The ground to first floor openings are also complete on the Crumlin Road wing and the team are making good progress with the openings on Flax St side.

The painting team have 75 % of the fire paint done on the cast iron pillars and beams and the additional supports for the cast iron pillars are being fitted.

Finally, the plumbing has started on site with the 1st fixing on the 4th floor apartments.
