Project Update: Buncrana Road, Derry

At Buncrana Road, Derry, EHA are under construction with 98 social housing units. This scheme is being delivered for Arbour Housing. The social housing project will help to meet high demand for new housing in the area. This is part of a £20 million investment project, supported by Danske Bank.

At site A the superstructure brickwork is all complete, scaffold is dismantled with most external plastering complete.
All roof tiling is complete with many of the bay window roofs completed.

Electrical mains are all installed and half of house connections are completed. The street lighting is almost complete.
Grounds work to the rear of many of the properties are complete as well as second fix electrical and second fix mechanical completed.

At site B, the level 3 blockwork is complete as well as roof timbers with roof covering 75% complete on apartment block A.
Window installation has begun on apartment blocks as well as acoustic matt and screeding.
Level 2 and 3 brickwork is complete on apartment block B, with some plots on site B having 2nd fix plumbing complete.
